Merlin Music Whistles 

We are now in full production with our beautifully-made tuneable low D whistles (and flutes), which we believe rival the best on the market for tone, quality and price. When developing the instruments we took account of the comments and suggestions we received from ceilidh band and session players who road-tested them for us. The current feedback we are receiving from our road-testers and satisfied customers is that Merlin flutes and whistles are among the best they've played.

All our whistles are hand-made in our own workshop, and are constructed with a smart black polymer body, bright-polished aluminium mouthpiece and tuneable head section. The whistle has a nylon/ABS fipple, so annoying condensation is cut to an absolute minimum.

The voices are rich and mellow, but lively enough to be heard through other instruments, so are ideal for playing at sessions or on stage. The polymer bodies mean that Merlin whistles are not affected by changes in temperature; there's no need to warm them up before you play and, once you've tuned them, they stay in tune.
